Massive queues to purchase tickets so do try to use the machines - you can change the language.

There are a few shops and some seating, so our 45 minute wait wasn't too bad. We weren't meant to wait at all but the train was cancelled - but the board didn't say that, it just showed the time of our train blinking. Luckily there is a staffed information desk, so my question was quickly answered.

As far as train stations go, this one is a-ok.

Typical train station, not too clean, not too new, but it gets the job done. Platforms are labeled well, so just follow the proper signs to get to where you need to go.

This railway station is centrally located within Cannes, is easy to find, and once you arrive, you will find yourself just a couple blocks from the beach and even closer for all the shops and restaurants.  The station is well marked, people are helpful if you need assistance, and if you need the restrooms (WC), it is located outside the main station .  There are a couple of rail stations in Cannes.  When you see the stop CANNES, this is the one!

Your average SCNF train station, mix of vending machines and booths for food. Didn't use the restroom. The train display is the old style, so to find your boarding location, you need to look at the light bulb based indicator. getting to the station is easy.

Nothing special for a train station.  Very close to the main drag, we got a taxi but you could easily walk in about 10-15 mins.  Taxi was about 8 euros to the JW Marriott.  There is a room where you can speak to an agent and purchase tickets. As well as a place for coffee and pastries.  Everyone we encountered was quite friendly.
